Personal story

Limited edition from 1988. Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. Just 3 years before the Soviet Union collapsed. In some sense, my story is not unique. My family experienced all the consequences of the working class legacy left from the “fallen empire”: empty stores, low salaries, fraying infrastructure, dismal entrepreneurship spirit or better say lack of it at all. Fortunate to travel the world, from Europe to Middle East. Ended up in New York were my 2 gorgeous sons were born.

My childhood was full of very great memories: from acquittance with classic Russian literature (still have no idea how my grandmother managed to make me learn by heart – “Ruslan and Ludmila” by A. Pushkin) to a rare gift from Japan – GameBoy. I was a hyperactive kid and explored a lot. Probably more than my relatives, teachers, friends could handle.

At 20 years old I’ve reached a pick of my queries. I needed the answer. To the most important question – “What’s the meaning of life”. Range of life & death experiences forced me to overlook other important categories: time/space, good/evil, harmony/chaos,  nature/nurture, freedom of choice, perception of reality etc.. My research brought me to inner Christianity, Sufism, Buddhism. Reiki, Greek philosophy, psychology and eventually Kabbalah.

At some point of time I considered myself an atheist, agnostic, then keen in esoteric tradition, in a nutshell ontology/metaphysics (even though, only now I start understanding the meaning of this concept). What matters most is that it all can be summarized by 1 word – search for meaning.

My first degree helped me to explore the world via lenses of linguistics. Explore a tremendous world of  language systems, hierarchy, how they are formed. Second degree in sociology strengthen my curiosity in observing laws and patterns socioeconomic constructs of every culture (value and belief frameworks).

Currently, I’m more interested in exploring deeper layers of our consciousness.  The real black matter that has a clear distinction from the brain. Helping others is my passion, because we are one.
